Would it be wrong to have a stripper perform at my funeral?

Well, bugs and decay will strip us all down in time, so you could just say it’s a metaphor. A sexy metaphor.

Why would anyone try to avoid asking rhetorical questions?

Why indeed?

Not to be too annoying, but you can “imagine the discomfort of my male friends, sitting next to their wives.” But you can’t imagine the discomfort of the wives? Do you not realize, most women don’t enjoy watching female strippers? At best it’s boring.

Not if she is a really good stripper.

Don’t make me get the axe.

Funerals in general are often boring and often cause discomfort to some of the people who intend them. Would I hire a stripper for just any relatives funeral? No. I do however, have a few people that when I think about it, probably few things would be more appropriate for their final send-off then a stripper doing one last table dance (maybe to Highway to Hell or Here I Go Again) on top of their coffin. The lesbian thing would be good too, but I don’t think it would be legal where I live. I actually think the stripper would be less uncomfortable to the mourners than hearing a clergy member lie to everyone’s face about the deceased’s moral character or family values.

I have no problem with it at all, provided that potential attendees are informed as to what the scene is going to be. It wouldn’t be cool to spring that on people who were expecting a conventional event, and would be offended.

And those of you who are saying “you’ll be dead, what do you care” and the like–would you like the same principle applied to your will?

Besides, they are wives? They love having their husbands feel discomfort. It’s a no win situation for the husband.
Were you looking at that stripper?

Were you ignoring what my dead brother prepared for you?

Wives dig that shit.

That is so bad it is awesome. The organ playing is icing on the cake.

You can’t make up stuff like this.

I polled my wife and a few female friends and they agreed that it would be okay as long as it wasRoxi Dlite

Ok then, that’s settled.
