I agree, but as per the OP the change is effectively permenant.
Edited: I’d better clarify, I have nothing but understanding and respect for people who change sex today, but the process is very far from easy and perfect.

Would I like US$250M…? Uhh… Maybe not. Probably not, depending on how you offer it. That kind of money changes your life situation dramatically, and I frankly don’t have that much need. US$2.5M? Sure. I’ll take that. US$25M…? Hmmm. Could we make that $10M, instead?
Okay, well, your facelift comment made me think it would just be a plumbing change without taking the other issues into account. For that amount of money, I repeat, why wouldn’t I do it, in that case? 
You would get the proper treatments that come before and after the surgery…but I won’t make you taller, shorter or anything of that nature.

Hell yes. Swapping out my genitalia doesn’t mean I have to change my identity. I can still dress the same and continue calling myself by the same name/pronouns while having a penis. And presumably my hormones would be as they are now. Sign me up.

Gender reassignment normally comes with hormone therapy as well. You might not find it as comfortable as you think.

Heck yeah. I mean, I really like being a woman, but for that much cash? I would talk it all over with Husband first, make sure he was on board, but I think it would work.
I’m happy with me the way I am, my wife doesn’t have the least bit of sexual interest in women, and she and I aren’t hurting for money. No deal. 
I think I’d find a way to make it work for that amount.
