Would you (could you?) eat this burger?

But goood. In Winnipeg’s comment that the Japanese know nothing about burgers is disproven by MOS Burger.

Slightly tempting, but Lotteria burgers are terrible.

So this makes 2000 calories just for the meat ? (if a 100 gram, 100% beef patty is 200 cals, as displayed on my pack of frozen patties)

Eh. It’s not that big in fact. But there’s the cheese.

Nope, I’d find better stuff to eat in Japan.

Especially when I can get these at home!

There’s a place called “Hank’s Tavern” where I’ve gotten one of these before. Only 2 patties but still a full pound of meat and impossible to eat as stacked.

Another pic.

Same here.

This joint is about 1/4 of a mile from my house.

I think that the 2 pounds of fries is more daunting. This page has a pic of the Go Wild Burger:

what would be the point? it doesn’t look tasty, you can’t finish it while it’s hot and no one can be that hungry.

I wouldn’t touch it. I literally lack a stomach for surgical reasons, and a Wendy’s Single is about all I can handle.

I don’t think I’d really have much trouble eating that deca-burger, if I was hungry. But I’d be more likely to stop at a double or triple and add some fries.

There’s a bar and grill here that sells a burger that sounds awesome (and potentially fatal), though I’ve never gone there and seen or eaten it. They grill up two 1/4-pound patties, assemble them in a bun with cheese and bacon, then dip the whole thing in a beer batter and deep-fry it.

It’s called “The Crazy Talk.” Sounds like the perfect thing to order on the night before your lethal injection.

I remember eating two triple cheeseburgers fairly easily as a teen, I probably could have eaten this. But jeez it looks gross! The patties look like McDonald’s sausage patties rather than any kind of beef.

i think i just had a few arteries close up reading about it, I would not want to even think about trying to eat one …

I actually know someone who has a deep fryer (friend of a friend is a restaurant owner). Think I should try to make one of these on my own?

I’d try it once sure. I loves me a greasy burger. The Eagle’s Deli is right where I used to go to school, and it had some award as “3rd best place to pig out” in the nation. They had 1-5 pound burgers. I’d regularly a 1 pounder with some fries, haha.

I’d pass on the 10 patty burger. Maybe a 5-patty version with fries instead…

I had a 10x10 at In-n-Out once, kinda as a competition/event with my friend. I finished the whole thing, but after 5-6 patties it was definitely more just soldiering on and forcing it down. Felt like I never wanted to eat again after that…
