I thought his post a bit wordy but he did get his point across, even if not succinctly. Still, though, I agree with your sentiment; we are indeed lucky to have such a mod. We are also lucky to have lucid posters like yourself; too often we suck up only to the mods and I, for one, feel that we should occasionally suck up, as it were, to each other. Or, at the very least, to recognize and honor each other’s sucking up. As it were.
C’mon! The guy even bothered to capitalize “Mod” - four times, no less! With such loving attention to detail, is it no wonder that the SDMB is the best-moderated board on the Net?

Not to say we’re perfect by any means - we’re human, and, like most of the SDMB, occasionally sarcastic, snide, or unpleasant (particularly to those who are the same). But, there are certain members of these forums who expect us to be somehow infallible and perfect, and who criticize us publicly and often when we inevitably fail to meet their expectations. shrug What can you do, eh?
