The B-9 robot from Lost in Space is going on auction. In Beverly Hills.
Just heard it on TCM.
Nitpick: Robot B-9 is not Robbie the Robot.

It looked like him. Maybe the name of the Lost in Space Robot was not named Robbie. Is that what you mean?

The Lost In Space robot was called ‘Robot’, though it was also addressed as ‘B-9’. (Hm… ‘Benign’?) Robby the Robot was from Forbidden Planet, and was addressed as ‘Robby’.

Robby and B-9 were both designed by the same person, Robert Kinoshita. They had some similarities, like a transparent bubble for a head and bellows arms ending in claw-like hands, but were not identical. Robby actually appeared with B-9 in two episodes of Lost in Space.
ETA Robby was sold in 2017 for over 5 million dollars.
Robby was first seen in Forbidden Planet, different robot suit from Robot in Lost in Space, though I’m pretty sure Robby made an appearance on Lost in Space.

Don’t feel badly; I had the two robots conflated in my head for many years.
B-9’s arms are just 6" flexible duct like I use on my lead vacuum.
They also have an original E.T. head with the long/stretched out neck. That thing would give me nightmares.
And a fully restored Batman costume.
