This Robby the Robot replica was created by Fred Barton Productions, Inc. and the artistry, detailing and character of the original robot are faithfully maintained in this high quality reproduction. A must-have for any serious Sci-fi collector.

Robby the Roboty:
Robby the Robot is a fictional character and science fiction icon who first appeared in the 1956 film Forbidden Planet. He made a number of subsequent appearances in science fiction films and television programs, which has given him the distinction as "the hardest working robot in Hollywood".
The name "Robbie" (spelled with an "ie") had appeared in science fiction before Forbidden Planet. In a pulp magazine adventure The Fantastic Island (1935), the name is used for a mechanical likeness of Doc ...

The Robot from lost in Space was just called “Robot” but I think his name (designation?) was Robot B-9.
I noticed the same seller is also offering Robot B9 from “Lost in Space.”
I really need to hit the lottery. Even if I could afford either of these, there simply wouldn’t be room in my little house for them, without putting the couch in storage.
