Could someone explain to me why Allie Sherlock is still performing regularly on the streets of Dublin? First of all, she doesn’t even live in Dublin. She apparently lives in Cork. She (and whoever accompanies her) have to travel for a couple of hours to get to Dublin. Second, she doesn’t need any money she gets from YouTube videos. She’s worth $1.6 million U.S. dollars. Third, she’s not waiting to be discovered in the usual sense. She appeared two and a half years ago on The Ellen Show. Why isn’t she doing world tours by this point?:
