What does it take to stop a drugged up, crazy guy from abducting 3 children?

It’s quite an amazing video. Several people at the gas station tried to intervene and help this lady & her kids.

The guy in the red hat tried holding the door closed to prevent the crazy guy from entering the store. Red hat guy takes a few hits to the face and retreats.

Finally the wrestling champion appears and quickly body slams & pins the crazy guy. I wish the take down had been on camera. You can see the wrestler easily pin down the crazy guy.

I found the same video on YouTube.

The wrestler is understandably being called a hero. He quickly put this crazy guy down.

But Red hat guy deserves a lot of credit too. He held the doors shut against this POS for over 20 seconds. Then took a fist in the face and blood hits the floor. I wonder if it broke his nose?

We hear so much about people not getting involved and helping during a crime.

All the people in the store tried to stop this guy from grabbing those kids. They just didn’t know how to quickly take him down.

Video worked fine for me.

There were a LOT of heroes in that place! And I am so grateful for every single one!

But the young kid, the wrestling champ? He came from across the street, walked into the store, and immediately took charge!

And give some credit to the ladies. I think green top helped hold him down for a bit after the wrestler took him down and hit him a couple times with the wet floor sign, and orange shirt booted him in the head and was ready to do it again.

All in all, strangers working together. Nice.

Didn’t maintain proper social distance, however…

It looks like it won’t play in Chrome, but it plays in Firefox. The news video includes the outside stuff, preliminary to inside the store, but Aceplace57’s link in post #3 is only the inside part.

I use Chrome, and it played for me.

Sadly there is too much chance of getting sued or shot by the bad guys these days.

Further testing has revealed that my ad-blocker, Ghostery, prevented the video from executing. This doesn’t always happen, so I like to leave Ghostery on to reduce the amount of on-screen spam. Most video links are not affected.

Seems odd that they sent only one cop in. I’d have expected a team of several at least.

Best part: Woman decides the yellow caution sign is not getting her point across, so she goes and get a wine bottle.

That lady was so jacked up on adrenaline. I was afraid our hero might get bashed by mistake.

When I started the video. I thought it was paused. Red hat was motionless. Once things got started, I immediately saw that wet floor sign as a potential weapon. Edge-on, that would do some real damage. A good kick to the crotch while he was pinned down could have taken the wind out of his sails, too. If you are justified in striking someone, give it all you’ve got. Great job by all.
