Signs need to be Funny and Clever.

How does it feel to be in the minor leagues?

Saw a live version of WWF Raw a few weeks ago live on satellite TV, the cameraman accidently showed Scott Steiner driving the limo that the NWO left in. 3 hours later, when shown at the regular 9pm time here on the left coast, the same shot had the drivers face blurred so it was not recognizable. And a reference to Sting made by Ric Flair was edited out too. Guess Uncle Vince doesn’t want folks to know that there are still other wrestiling organizations around.

I actually had/have that sign. I brought it the Smackdown! taping in Omaha during the Aliance angle. I also had:

By the way 100%, I dont think Eddie will be there. He is suposedly on his back to the WWF.

I had a sign when I went to the Smackdown taping here. It said “HELP ME! THIS MATCH SUCKS!”, which I held up during some random match that was filmed for the MTV show. I also had one that said “Billy & Chucky: The Ambiguously Gay Duo” that was taken by a security guard. Bastids! It was really cool, too, with pink and purple glitter all over it.

For the record, Eddie Guerrero came back to WWF last night, and is apparently NWO material now. I don’t know quite what went on, as I was in a loud bar, but he seems to have lost the love handles he had. (Thank goodness! Whenever he wrestled, all I could think was ‘why doesn’t someone grab him by the handles and throw his butt out?’)

I was at the WWA live showwhen it played Dublin. The quality of wrestling wasn’t the best, but It being the first major wrestling show in Dublin for over 10 years and the fact that wrestling has a huge following over here, meant that the atmosphere was eletric.

as for signs, I had one saying “Asparagus 49c/lb” and a few others.

As I mentioned, the crowd was up for anything. when the music hit, the place erupted. We even cheered while Juven-dud and Psychosis gave a mildly entertaining match (the highlight being Juven-dud slipping and falling off one turnbuckle after he won the match and was milking the crowd, quickly followed by him (literally) dropping the belt when he got up. It just wasnt his night.

Anyway, when Brian christopher came out, a huge section of people behind us (obviously orchestrated) Stood up and started chanting “Pushers out! Pushers out!” which had one side of the crowd in tears laughing. Then, A huge sign was unfurled from the balcony that read “Got Drugs?” :smiley:
Mini hi-lights include Disco Inferno being hit by a plastic water bottle that he threw half full into the audience as soon as he turned his back, The crowd applauding when the ring was empty after Buff Bagwell and Stevie Ray had left the ring.

Also, Nathan Jones is SCARILY big. If he learns some moves, he could do real well in the business.

My sister went to some wrestling show about a year ago and brought a sign that read “I’m with stupid” with an arrow pointing straight down at herself.
