Write a TV campaign ad!

Since we’re probably all sick to death of the same old messages over and over, I think we at the SDMB can do better. It can be funny, it can be serious, it can be outrageous…whatever you can wrap your mind around.

Here’s mine:

SCENE: A polling place, Anytown, USA.

A VOTER walks into the poll. VOTER hands registration card to POLL WORKER.

VOTER: “Excuse me, which voting booth should I use?”

POLL WORKER looks up. It’s JOHN MCCAIN.

MCCAIN: “Well, that one’s open…but you don’t wanna use it.”
VOTER: “Why not?”
MCCAIN: “It’s…a Democrat Zone! It’s full of tax-and-spend liberals! Weak national defense, big government…”
VOTER: “But…I’ve got the Obama Network.”

BARACK OBAMA enters polling place, surrounded by military advisers, health-care professionals, financial analysts etc.

OBAMA(gives “thumbs-up sign”): “We’re good! In fact, we’re better than good! We’re Americans, and together we can conquer any problems!”
MCCAIN (crestfallen): "Oh… "

MCCAIN hands card back to VOTER. VOTER heads for booth.

MCCAIN: “HIS NAME IS KINDA FUNNY!
TAGLINE: “Don’t be afraid of Democrats! Vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden in 2008.”
