I’m not a Christian, but I find prayer extremely interesting. I suppose we’ve all written our own prayers, from time to time, in the hour of our greatest need, alone with our God. Perhaps over a sick child, an injured friend, a missing parent, or an early detection pregnancy test, it doesn’t really matter. That’s a more impromptu, stream of consciousness thing than I have in mind.

Oh, great Nzinga. I call upon your higher self to win in your battles against your lower demons. And may you give me the strength to think before speaking when dealing with judgmental hypocrites spouting their nonsense, lest I become one of them. Amen.

Please Dear Lord, kill all child molesters, rapists, and violent humans…you know Lord, the ones that you created for some unknown fucking reason, that torment the rest of us.
And then Lord, please stop ALL earthquakes that bury people (including small children) alive under tons of rubble. You can keep the tornadoes and hurricanes, since we now know when they are coming, but earthquakes are just wrong Lord.
And last but not least Dear Lord, please PLEASE shut Pat Robertson the fuck up. I don’t care how, but please shut him the fuck up.
