As a fan of the USA shows Monk & Psych, I’ve been wondering whether the writers’ strike will nix their upcoming seasons, which start in something like January or February. (This is assuming we don’t have a miraculous end to the strike before then, of course.)
My understanding is that the regular network shows will be more or less out of material at the mid-season break, but what about the USA shows, which are on their own crazy schedule that doesn’t start the season until early next year? Would they already have had scripts before the strike came down? The websites for Monk & Psych are advertising holiday episodes on 12/7, but seem to offer no additional information about the upcoming season.
