"Wrong Then, Wrong Now." The White House Video Rips Cheney For Iran Deal.

I love this video. Especially the music.

Good video!

Does the White House typically target former administrations like this? Not saying I disagree with the content or the spirit of the video, but doesn’t the West Wing have friends who can do this kind of dirty work, without getting their hands messy?

Or has the Obama administration just simply made a special exception for Cheney, what being the [del]decent human being[/del] bloodless pig-raping shit eater that he is?

Typically, officials of the former administration don’t make with the armchair quarterbacking on the current administration. Where the courtesy is extended, it’s generally reciprocal.

To be sure, even George W. Bush himself has done Obama and his administration the courtesy of keeping his mouth shut these last 7 years. Cheney, OTOH, is just a natural-born pig-fucker, always has been, and always will be. He can’t help himself, it’s deeply entrenched in his DNA.

Dayum! Paraphrasing Obama: Fuck me? No, Fuck You!
That video brought me back in time, and it was not pleasant. Good gravy, I don’t miss Dick Cheney one little bit.

Hmmm… A collection of news clips, mainly from The Fox News Channel.
Has anyone seen Jon Stewart lately?

Of course it’s a great collection, but does anyone think that any supporters of Dick Cheney are ever going to watch it? Do any supporters of Obama make an effort to watch anti-Obama stuff from Republicans?

Cheney has some valid points…especially as Khamenei has said that Israel will not be around in 25 years. Aw, I know…it’s just hyperbole…but some folks might take it seriously.

Those folks are idiots

I’m sure you can list some of those “valid points”.

Like wading in a cesspool. With the king turd.

Listening to Cheney denying the statements made by the journalists (oh gawd, did I just use that word to describe Fox people?) is very instructive. If it doesn’t match your viewpoint, just say “I don’t agree” or “I think you’re wrong”. How can you argue with such finely-tuned logic as that? Sounds like something my Fox-watching brother would say if I ever wanted to waste five minutes of my life discussing politics.

Darth and his maggot offspring have just come out with a book that slams Obama as basically a traitor to America. A life unexamined, indeed.

Cheney was always of the “Truth come from authority, not vice versa” mentality. But how much authority does he have now? How much influence could he have on events by picking up the phone? Sure, he can get on Fox News; his calendar is full of speaking gigs for audiences who already agree with whatever he might say; and billionaires will always welcome him into all the best NFL/MLB skyboxes. But now that he can’t say “agree with me or you’re on the outside,” what value is his unenforceable opinion?

He has control of the Halliburton hit men.
:dubious:

Cheney is evil and it’s an indictment against our whole system of government that such as him could ever have risen to such a pinnacle of power (and for such a long time too) in our government.

I was a lab assistant to a research professor for several years, who was a very Cheney-like in his own little fiefdom (and most especially in the way the exploited and abused his grad students). I was left with an indelibly sour view of the entire institution of academia that such ilk are able to thrive in that environment.
