FTR, I’ve been quite vocal in suggesting that additional education about AIDS and how it is contracted is a good thing, including defending the person who did it the first time it was brought up in one of these threads. What has apparently angered the gay people here, and their defenders, is that every time a gay man posts about having sex, somebody feels it important to hijack the thread to do that bit of education. As several posters have noted, one would find it sensible to assume that a 30- or 40-year-old gay man who has been out and active would know the risks he’s undertaking.
