OK - this is really getting annoying. I pre-apologize for any random stretches of all caps - that’s one of the things that’s bugging me!
At random times when I’m on the internet, my mouse will start “clicking.” I don’t mean actually clicking on something, but I get the sound as well as the little “please wait” hourglass on my screen. Or, when I click on something, it will highlight all of the surrounding text instead of just one thing. Or if I try to use the scrolly-dealy, it will go backwards and forwards through web pages instead of up and down the page. (FYI - we have a Logitech optical mouse.)
The keyboard is even worse! It’s like the computer is getting signals that don’t exist, especially caps and control. Or, sometimes it just won’t register that I’m even typing! I’ll be typing along, and it will stop, or go all caps. We thought it was our old crappy keyboard, but we went out and bought a new one less than two months ago - and that never made any difference. First time I used it, it screwed up.
Possibly unrelated: sometimes, when I click on a web link, the browser opens up another page instead of reloading over the old one.
Right now, everything is working just fine, but it was fritzing on me when I was trying to type in my thread title. And my husband (who signs in as a different user) never seems to have these problems.
HELP!! (intentional caps)
