Wylers Tik Tok Trend Inspired drink mix

Bought a 20 pack of Wylers Tik Tok Trend inspired drink mix. These are hard to come by and aren’t in many stores. The flavors are unique. The packaging is different too. The packets have no labeling. Just all white with the flavor stamped in black. Like it’s generic.

Here is my review:

Cotton Candy. Hard to believe there is no sugar in this. It’s sweet as all heck. Like liquid cotton candy. Kids will love this. Adults will find it gets quite sickening after a while. But in the beginning it’s refreshingly good…B+

Unicorn. 'Whimsical candied and berry flavored burst" according to the box. Tastes like a penny candy I had as a kid but just can’t place. Berry Pez? Zotz? Very tasty. Best with 14 ounces of water. 12 is too little, 16.9 too much. A

Mermaid. “Tropical citrus with a hint of coconut”. This one is odd tasting. Like an island cocktail they forgot to add the booze to. D+

Peach Ring. “Candied Peach”. Thick and syrupy like peach juice. Has a bit of bitterness like the under skin of a peach. Rather artificial tasting though.
because it is. C+

So the Cotton Candy and Unicorn are the best ones. Still trying to figure out the candy Unicorn tastes like.

There is a second box with 4 more flavors. i shall return in the future to rate those.

I think I’ve heard of Wyler’s before since they stocked it at Walmart. I’ve used something like that to make my tap water palatable.

So the peach actually has a different viscosity than the others??

I’ve had cotton candy seltzer (Kroger house brand), it’s pretty interesting. It really invokes the flavor of carnival spun sugar floss but it’s completely unsweetened so the expected cloypow in the teeth never follows through.

Any chance the Unicorn is melted popsicle flavor? That’s also been popular in the seltzer community lately.

Used to get Wyler’s root beer mix long ago. Like half a century ago.

How’d it compare to root beer Kool-Aid? I was addicted to that shit.

Much better in that it got foamy, not enough to taste like real carbonated root beer, but the flavor was about the same. I tried mixing it with soda water one time, it turned almost all into foam, had to just leave the pitcher sitting in the kitchen sink while a giant root beer head continued to grow until there was maybe an inch of liquid left at the bottom.
