Scanning through the radio yesterday, I thought I heard that there was an accident on the XFiles that several people were seriously injured. Electical wire touching a bleacher section with crew on it or something like that.
I know that one of our dopers husbands works on the set (Richilam?) so I immediately thought and worried if everything is aok.
Any body else hear this? Know any info?
Rilchiam’s husband used to work for the X-Files. Yes, there was an accident, but no, Mr. Rilch wasn’t hurt. According to Rilchiam (she did post about this yesterday), an electrician was killed when some scaffolding hit some wires, IIRC.
No, you didn’t dream it, and yes, it sucks. 
According to the Daily News, the man who died was Jim Engh, of Chatsworth. Christian Silver was also injured and was still in the hospital as of this morning. There was a total of one death and six injuries.

I’m happy you thought of Mr. Rilch, Shirley! And he’s okay; he determined that he didn’t know that guy. I may go to the memorial as Mr. Rilch’s proxy, though.
