X-Men Apocalypse. Seen it.

Maybe he has time powers, and can make the music play as fast as he moves?

Ohhh…right! Actually, that makes a lot of sense, that everything on his person is in a kind of bubble that operates on a different time scale while he’s “running”.

I liked it better when he moved at normal speed while everyone else was frozen, this time he moved at super speed while everyone else was frozen and it looked kinda silly.

Amen. I thought the opening to this movie was the best moment in any X-men movie. Awesome, mind-blowing, and when the opening credits started showing, I was ready to stand up and cheer.

The rest? I liked it. It’s not great, but definitely not terrible.

I don’t mind the total lack of continuity. I think they know the continuity is gone at this point.

Speed force!

Oscar Isaac would probably be a good replacement for Jackman, ironically enough.

Canonically, he doesn’t, but he has more or less overclocked his electronics (…somehow) so he can use them as extreme speed. The difference between him and, say, the Flash is that Quicksilver’s powerset comes more from impossible physical adaptations than an external force.

Yes, see him play Pong in DoFP. They don’t explain it, and it doesn’t make sense, but the target audience doesn’t care about such nonsense.

I finally got around to watching X-Men: Apocalypse.

Sweet xombie jesus did it suck!!!

How can Singer do both the best (X2) and this turd? It’s like they basically said “we have some X-characters so let’s make a movie! We saw them on the cover of a book, crap out a screenplay and call it a day!”

I know they’ve been trying to set up Dark Phoenix but since they’ve already crapped on both Apocalypse and Days of Future Past, I’ve had enough. I’ll stick to the MCU from now on. Well, except for Deadpool.

They already did Dark Phoenix in the third movie (The Last Stand) so I don’t think it’ll be coming back any time soon.

I’d forgotten about that crapfest. Well nothing of value lost.
