Seeing all this press about the X prize lately got me thinking about an old TV show that I remember, probably done in the late 70’s early 80’s. The show was about a family that created a spaceship from garbage/recycled parts. I think their launch pad was right in the middle of the family junkyard. They had pretty hokey costumes and sets. Is this something I am dreamt or does anyone else remember it as well? I don’t think it was on for longer than a season if that.

You nailed it. Thanks for the title I just looked it up on IMDB, sadly there are no pictures. I remember it fondly, I would love to see an episode or two just to see what I liked way back then.
