OK, I don’t use social media at all. Can someone tell me what the share button is that has the teddy bear with the red eyes? I don’t get today’s xkcd.
That’s the reddit share button. I had to look it up myself though.

I should be more explicit if you’re not getting the social media part - it’s making fun of the different interests of (stereo)typical users of different networking sites. Twitter users are wannabe comedians, reddit users get very upset over freedom of the internet, Facebook users hate Facebook, and the only people interested in RealDolls use Google+.
Also there’s nobody on Google+.

Pretty much and FetLife doesn’t have a Share button. 
Well, they have a few ‘Share’-based interest categories, so they probably don’t need a button.

I was going to make fun of the OP since the redit share button actually appears on the straightdope thread page. But looking at it the share button, at least on my browser, just shows the upper quadrant of the aliens face and looks like just a squiggle, and nothing like the xkcd drawing.
Of course, criticizing the art on xkcd is kinda silly anyways, but just sayin’.
LOL! I don’t know what over 50% of those buttons are. I know Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
I don’t think I would even join in any anti-social networking…
Interesting, I know what all of those buttons are, but until reading this thread I’d never noticed that they are there as I’ve become so mentally attuned to skipping over such things.
