No, but there are fish that can generate electrical charges, which means that they can, potentially, separate water into oxygen and hydrogen.

And soon more cute little horrors on the way. That infamous poster would be driven right out of his house to run screaming into the night, never to return.

“To combat the threat, many airlines are installing wing-mounted spray bottles.”

Yet another reason not to play with the cat with a laser pointer.

Airliners’ engines are tested to survive birdstrikes, not catstrikes. Lssering could cause the purrfect accident.

With catastrophic results.

I’m amazed I missed that one. Must’ve been catatonic.

No claws for self-recrimination.

For all those launch airs we’re gonna need more lawn chairs.

I suppose the person might be charged with several felinies for doing this.

Not least animal cruelty. I’m sure the cat will land on its feet. I’m not so sure it’ll survive the impact falling from that far up.

As the Master has addressed, as long as the plane is more than seven stories aloft, the cat will probably be OK

“It’s important for devices to have internet connectivity so the manufacturer can patch remote exploits.”

Hell, yes. I have a vacuum cleaner and an air conditioner that want to be connected to my wifi … not happening!

“You suck!”

“Yeah? Well, you blow!”

I tried, but failed, to keep my printer from connecting.

I know some people have good reasons to have a printer connected by wifi. I am not one of them. I have good reasons to have a printer connected by USB cable instead. This one is supposed to be, but often refuses to recognize that fact and refuses to print because it claims not to be connected; but it appears also incapable of consistently finding the wifi connection. Even when that connection is actually working.

I actually like my printer being on the home Wi-Fi network. It lets me print from my phone. My washing machine wants to connect to the Wi-Fi network. I didn’t let it. I don’t need (or want) a phone alert when it’s time to cycle the laundry.

I know some people want to be able to print from multiple devices, or from multiple locations. I just want the printer to work with the desktop, and to work consistently – and my modem doesn’t, or rather the system it connects to doesn’t. And even when the internet connection is working half the time the printer seems unable to find either the Wifi or the USB connection.

Let me guess: HP?

Yeah, a printer definitely has reason to connect to WiFi (even if some specific users don’t need or don’t want that connection). An air conditioner, maybe: You could use that to adjust the temperature without walking over to it. A washing machine, maybe, in that it could give you an alert when it’s done, though that could also be accomplished with just a loud DING.

But what in the world does a vacuum cleaner or a dehumidifier do with WiFi?

Yup. 9018.

Join a botnet. What else?
