She’s been in since November 7, recovering from a hysterectomy-bilateral oophrectomy. The doctors originally told her to expect a three- to five-day stay. The procedure went fine, the biopsied tissues were declared cancer-free, and she almost immediately fell victim to a nosocomial infection. She already has a compromised immune system (Hep-C), and for $ome rea$on, no one thought to have her in isolation.
I want to Pit the disrespectful hospital staff for their poor treatment of my sister, the cost-conscious attitudes that led to this ordeal, and my family members for not keeping us in the kaylasdad99 household informed (making it so we had to call her in her room just to find out if she was still admitted), but I can’t. I’m just too HAPPY. that today she’s getting a gamma-globulin infusion for eight hours to top off her system, and they’re going to release her TODAY!
YAAAAAY!
