I’m in for Munch’s league, if that’s OK… I only went through one of the mock drafts. It did teach me a lot about what value people put on RBs, though.
Keeper sounds OK to me, although the logistics would be a bit hard if done in Yahoo, wouldn’t it? Do they offer any kind of support for keeper leagues?

30 NFL teams. 12 FFL teams. Our teams aren’t supposed to look like theirs.
That’s exactly what I’m saying, and the idea seems to be gathering momentum among both SDMBFFL regulars from seasons past as well as the mock-ers from the last few months.
Oh, and I joined that survivor league you made, Mundi. That looks like a great concept.
Hey Mundis, how do I predraft? I can’t seem to find a thing in the Survivor league.
The league can’t be entered for predraft until it fills, I’m afraid. We need to coonvince 8 more of our fellow that it will be great fun.
Once the league opens, predraft is very simple and self-explanatory. If you want to familiarize yourself with the interface, I suggest joining ono (or more) of the non-password speed drafts that run on the site every day. (Time limits 2-5 minutes). They are like the crack cocaine of mock drafting.

It’s eastern time, but the suspend times can be adjusted if necessary. What I have found, though, is that the predraft facility is friendly enough that it is rarely a problem to keep things moving. The suspension also resets the clock. So, if I were on teh clock at 12:05 AM and did not draft, the suspension would carry me to 6 AM, from which I would have an additional 2 hours to draft.
Both the time limit per pick and the suspension times can be changed at need, though. I am open to suggestions.

Is anyone going to do a summary of the weekly action on a webpage? It might be fun to get some Dopers to act as sportswriters, commenting on the action and the taunting.

I woulda loved to have some sportswriters in my league last year. The forum was filled with “Ha ha! Lookit all the Saints he took! And former Saints! We got the good players!”
Then Marshall Faulk got hurt.
Then my boys Deuce McAllister, Ricky Williams, and Joe Horn started lighting it up.

Are we really having difficulty filling up the league? With the number of emails shooting back and forth I had the impression that we were good to go.
Ouch, 20 teams. Pretty rough when only 12 will have a pair of starting RB’s. I might be bothered by that if it were a money league, but I have no problem if the only thing I can lose is what little pride I have left.
