Yay! I've got a house! (and will occupy it for exactly 72 hours)

Woo! I’ve finally gotten an apartment!

The whole time, I’ve been living in a hotel, for the most part, devoid of any and all electronic stimuli. But lo, I found an apartment [sub]with a patio[/sub] in a fairly decent neighborhood [sub]got a dishwarsher too[/sub], on a quieter side of town [sub]but the central air is kinda noisy[/sub]. Hoo doggie.

But now that I’ve moved approximately 25% of 3,550 lbs (1,560kg) of my crap by hand, I’m gonna be pretty damn busy tomorrow. I gotta finish up before I get sent to a construction project down in Rapid City, SD on Friday. After talking with a few guys here, it seems I’ll be bouncing around the country like a ping pong ball on steroids. Great apartment! Won’t be here to enjoy it!

In any case, I’ll be “surfin’ with Cecil” tonight, solely to cure my withdrawal symptoms.

I’m gonna run to Wal-Mart real quick for some supplies. Be back in an hour or so.

YAY! Can NCB and I share your couch

puhleeeeeeze?

Cripes. Any Doper has a place with me.

Just give me a 2-hour heads up. That’s all I ask.

Any of you kind folk can crash with me.

Cool !

Unfortunately, NCB hasn’t even jumped on me…er…the chance to crash w/me on your couch.

(((sigh)))

This is almost exactly the same situation I just had with my condo. Took possession of it, moved in and the next day started three weeks away on business. It’s amazing how much moving and buying you can pack into a short space when properly motivated.
