So tonight’s my caregiving night for my mother so I’m over my sister’s house. I was giving the online FIOS guide the once-over when I saw Mystery Science Theater 3000 listed on RetroTV (FIOS 480).
Seems it’s been on a few weeks now and I didn’t know it! (From what I’m given to understand, they only have the rights to a certain number of eps–hopefully they’ll get others.)
To top it all off, when I looked up the news about this, it led me to the channel’s website–which informed me that starting August 4th, they’re going to run Classic Doctor Who every weeknight!
Love these nostalgia channels!
What, no broadcast affiliate in Chicago? Those bastards!
It’s in Enid and Ponca City, but not OKC? Crap
Cool…there is an affiliate in Key West, and it’s carried (in low def) by U-Verse in my area.
And to think, I was about to break down and order Netflix so I would have more Doctor Who episodes to watch while exercising.
Oh, feldercarb! Now they’ve got Who too.
And they tossed our RTV station for some channel about putting on makeup or packing luggage or some garbage I will never watch.
You can also catch MST3000 24/7/365 here.
Thanks! I haven’t seen many eps and it’s fun to play Name That Flick when you come in while the movie was playing. Last night it was Gorgo and today it’s some Hammer Invisible Man thing.
