I have just finished my very first attempt at cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I made Cornish Game Hens (there was only two of us so a turkey would have been too much) with an apricot glaze, stuffing, mashed potatoes, asparagus, biscuits, and the pumpkin pie is to come. Right now my boyfriend and I are lying on the couch; he is napping using me as a pillow as we happily digest.
All in a kitchen smaller than some closets I have had.
I love big dinners.

Rub it in why don’tcha? My first thanksgiving I dropped the turkey on the floor and it skittered down the hallway, cats in close pursuit. I gave thanks it was just a dry run, that’s for sure.

Sounds delicious! We don’t do Thanksgiving in Australia, so I’ll have to wait until Christmas for a similar feast.
