Just the other day I was compelled to start a discussion on the ever ridiculous plot originating in Yemen but thought to myself I’ll just appear as a nut that has nothing better to do. But reading today’s article http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/africa-mideast/yemeni-bomb-was-17-minutes-from-exploding-french-official-says/article1785720/ I went from “give me a break” to “WTF!”
Now, the “give me a break” is the claim as from the article title where it seems only French “know” that the bomb was 17 minutes close to detonating. Aside from obvious question such as how these poor souls in Yemen got a hold of the Holy Grail of incredible probability formula to calculate international carriers parcel delivery timing, the more interesting is the fact that others, British, German and US do not share the same facts. Did French forget to read conspiracy milestones manual? But, really… give me a break! It sounds scary but is not sound at all.
The “WTF!” moment came a bit later when I was reading “updated” details on the address. Now, it sounded quite funny, almost Pythonesque that someone in Yemen would try to blow up a synagogue in Chicago using UPS but that’s me. The update from the article now claims that the address is outdated (i.e. which I interpret as there used to be a synagogue there but no longer) but it appears that the bomber was really pissed about Crusades so the bomber wrote something about it. Which means, focus is no longer on synagogues but something else: the 17 minutes calculation mentioned above.
I’m expecting the hordes of conspiracy debunkers to line up with detailed and logical explanations as it’s obvious I’m missing something here…
