Yep, just wrote a song about dead mice

For a friend’s website…that I just found out is no more. :smack: Super. But at least it was fun. (For those curious, you can damage your ears at FAWM . Click on “Dead Mouse Brigade.” -duh-)

So, anyone else recently spend hours on something for someone that was totally not necessary? (Bonus points if the process was fun, though.)

I love it. I haven’t a clue what it’s about - or what the Dead Mouse Brigade website might have actually been, but not knowing is part of the fun.

I am currently teaching a course in Multimedia and the final project is to create an animated cartoon. I am doing one as well and hope to have a grand premiere here on the boards in the next few weeks.

Regarding your Dead Mouse song…I was all ears, it wasn’t cheesy and it had squeaky clean lyrics - not gnawty at all.

Just wanted to say that the first thing I thought of was B. Kliban. Love to eat them mousies/Mousies what I love to eat/Bite they little heads off/Nibble on they tiny feet.

Could you tell us a bit more about how you produced that song?

Love to eat them mousies.
Mousies what I love to eat!
Bite they tiny heads off,
Nibble on they tiny feet!

That’s fiyah! Love it!

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not, but in the off chance…

Used a self-powered microphone hooked up to my laptop, running Garage Band. Recorded the rhythm/bass type thing, then looped it. Sang, recorded, sang with myself, recorded, sang with myselves, recorded, and so on.

All that in my classroom long after the kids had gone home. They have no idea what goes on in there after we make all that serious music during the day.
