OK, I’ve been lurking on SDMB for about a year now from work, and I have been unable to post due to the computer system they have here. I have finally figured out a way around the system. Now I just have to avoid getting caught.
Well, good luck dodging those roving security droids. Just be sure to duck QUICKLY, 'cuz once they find a hole in the security, they shoot first, and ask questions later.

If the boss sees you, DON’T minimize the window. It’s determined as the most common deceit trick with a computer. Seriously, if you were a teacher or a supervisor or anything like that, and you walked into a room where people had the freedom of computers, I’d guarantee on every single computer there’d be a window being minimized.
But enough of that, welcome! 
I actually don’t have to worry about my boss on nights with me. None of them really care as long as I continue to monitor my system. And all my windows that I use (including this one) are text only. It makes the hiding much easier! Of course sometimes you have to really search for links and such, but I’ve got nothing but time while I’m here.
Just remember that Alt-Tab is your friend.

I hope I someday have a job where I will be able to post from work also. But with both of the temp jobs I have had so far, I am much too busy. The time really goes fast, though.
