I’m asking in which novel this happens.

Rincewind and Cohen the Barbarian are taken in by a band of warriors. This band is dependant on their horses. Besides transportation they’re a source of food for them. Rincewind and Cohen are fed a meal of horse bread and horse stew which they were hungry enough to eat. Rincewind did NOT, however, sample the horse beer. :confused:
