but I can’t quite get it to work out this way, either, and need to go to sleep soon. Maybe you can work with that, or it could be a false lead. good luck.
Okay it still would work, but I’d have to use an alternate spelling of a plural version of a unique proper noun. Or a possessive of said noun, but that’s too much of a stretch, even for me. Still working on it.
This version has two “questionables”: the first, bight, is easily defended. Look at any physical map of Australia, and there along the southern edge, you will see the Great Australian Bight (a bight is a small bay between two points of land). (Besides, I see ShibbOleth has already mentioned this.)
The other, curet, is a variation of “curette”: a kind of surgical instrument. If that one is too “dodgy”, replace curet->cores above with the following sequence:
The definition for bight (from my head) is a loop of rope, like when one ties a knot. IIRC it’s one of those words you learn in the Boy Scouts. Or if you are a sailor.
I’ll do the only one not done yet.
I’m sure it’s a little circuitous, but oh well.

Yes, “grane” is a word, but in a way that would cause a fist-fight during a Scrabble game. Can someone get around this word for me? I’m a bit too lazy.
It’s nice when recent posts on a thread don’t appear until after you’ve written and posted yours, resulting in an awkward post that belongs a bit further up in the thread…
Genseric and TN*hippie BOTH beat me out!
I’m just so slow!!! (runs off crying)
Just to note I forgot a word in mine, thus the subsquent nevermind post. It should have poll in between pole and pool, or better yet just substitute JBERGES shorter solution.
Anyway here’s an untested one from me *Glory -> Shame
