A Brown County church vandalized with Donald Trump graffiti shortly after the 2016 election wasn’t targeted by pro-Trump political activists, but a member of their own congregation, according to police.
…
According to court records, when confronted with the evidence, the 26-year-old gay man confessed.
Investigators say Stang admitted to painting the “Heil Trump” and “Fag Church” graffiti himself because he wanted to “mobilize a movement after being disappointed in and fearful of the outcome of the national election.” He insisted his actions were not motivated by anti-Christian or anti-gay sentiments.
Wasn’t there another backwards B cut into a forehead of a woman? Police became suspicious because they figured she did it herself at a mirror.
Or is this the same case?
Can you imagine being so dim that you wouldn’t take into consideration the mirror image?
So, some context, if you please. Do you believe (based on the “yet another” in the title) that this is some sort of widespread practice? Do you have at hand links to reliable reporting of numerous other such incidents to back up your “yet another” assertion?
I’m sure you’ll feel much better to know that I don’t have any particular impulse to fake vandalism by right-wingers, that I’d be very surprised if anyone else here did, and that any antipathy I may have for the current administration has nothing to do with whether I thought its supporters were vandalizing churches. Cheers.
You want to blame someone for the fact that scams like this occur? Blame the people who are ACTUALLY most responsible:
The vile people who really ARE committing such race or other prejudiced based crimes against humanity. The only reason why anyone DOES fake such things, is because lots of real hate crimes are being committed.
From what I’ve seen most right wing hate speech is delivered in a focused, private, personal and often surreptitious manner. When you see a spray painted message or similar defacing in the middle of a liberal campus generally located in the middle of a liberal demographic with some generic hate statement like “Kill Fags” or “Burn Jews” I automatically assume it’s 50/50 at best that it’s the work of actual racists.
If I saw "Trump will Kill Us All! on a campus wall or “Niggers and Kikes Destroying America!” spray painted on a bridge in a working class white area I’d be more inclined to say those were genuine. Liberal and right wing taggers like to stay in their safe zones if they can.
Wow. Now there is some 1984 level doublespeak. It’s the fault of the group the false flag operation was trying to implicate because they aren’t doing enough to inspire people to rise up against them.
