They taped the three-year old boy up and left him in a fucking closet while they attended a goddamned family reunion. He died in the closet while they were gone (yeah, big fucking surprise) and they concocted an elaborate story to explain his disappearance, then tried multiple times to burn the body to get rid of it. They had cops searching for the boy after they claimed he wandered off. These buttmunch fuckwits pleaded for help finding him at a fucking press conference. Hundreds of volunteers searched for the boy they thought was lost.

Well thank heavens somebody has the courage to speak out against the child-killing assholes. I’m sick of all the pro-child-killing-assholes stuff I’ve been seeing lately in the mainstream media.
Involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment? That’s it? Is it just me or does it often seem like these kinds of cases are grossly undercharged? These fucking people should never see the sun for the rest of their lives but with these charges, they could be back out within a few years and even make more babies to torture and kill. I wish that parents who kill their children through willful abuse could be charged with first degree murder. It beggars belief that you can get mandatory life for selling cocaine but you can murder your own child and get a slap on the wrist.

I think the murder charges will come, Dio. They’re still collecting evidence. Probably the existing charges are what they can prove now, to keep the assholes in jail.

A good number of foster parents do it not for love of children, but for the monthly check they get for doing it, so it’s not a big surprise that a lot of times it ends up like this. They could add that question to the form, I would think- Are you just requesting a foster child for the check- yes or no?
I’m guessing they have to wait for forensics to prove the child was alive when he was placed in the closet. Once they get that evidence, they’ll charge them with murder.
They wouldn’t care; from what I’ve read here and there the “faith based” group, Lifeway for Youth that placed him gets paid according to how many kids they place; they don’t care what the parents are like. Link
How much do families get paid for taking in foster kids?
I see these stories all the time (about foster family neglect/abuse) and I always wonder how these parents who are in it just for the money can possibly justify such a scheme (to themselves). I can understand foster parents doing it out of love or a sense of duty, but as a money making venture alone I can’t possibly imagine that these programs pay out enough to justify the costs (financial, emotional, temporal) of raising an extra child.
Has anyone done foster parenting? How much did you get paid?
God. I couldn’t bring myself to click the link in the CNN article that said why the authorities think the little boy was screaming for help. I must be emotional, because I am crying just thinking about that poor little boy screaming alone in the dark, hungry and scared.

I don’t normally respond to these ‘I’ve linked to some bad news’ threads, but when I saw this title I immediately knew which story it was going to refer to. I read it on CNN earlier today. I felt literally nauseous while reading it, and the feeling didn’t go away until I left my desk to get some water.
How fucking stupid do you have to be to not be able to dispose of the body of a child. These nuts deserve prison based on lack of imagination if nothing else.
At least with a crime where there’s a bit of thought you can admire the planning or effort put in to it but this just lacks style. I mean a bit of patience and a food blender would have sufficed.
If you don’t care about the kids, you can raise 'em pretty cheap. It doesn’t cost much to feed them if you’re just giving them staples (enough to keep them alive and from looking too skinny, in other wods, but not giving them a nutritious diet.) You can buy cheap clothing at stores like Goodwill, and if you’ve been doing this for a while, ytou can make the kids pass them around and hand down clothing for reuse. Medical care is provided for free. You’re probably going to cut toys out of the budget, but you can also get them at used stores for a fraction of the price, should you be so inclined. The utility increases are negligible.
Even if all you’re getting is $100 bucks a month per kid (which I think is probably a pretty low estimate), you’re making a profit.
No goddamn kidding. I’m so tired of the local news running segments like “Why you should murder your children today!” and “Cyanide or carbon monoxide: What’s the best way to off your kids?” I’m definitely anti-child-killing, and I don’t care who’s offended by my political incorrectness.
