Poor Falcon was in chat the night I got my Sony Mavica digital camera. (it wasn’t even my first, just my best)
I must have e-mailed her 6 creepy self portraits, pictures of my christmas tree, my house, etc. God bless her for “oohing and ahhing” at them all! I made little mpg movies with it and sent them along. And check this out:

This takes you to just one of my online photo albums. Feel free to waste your entire work day browsing the rest (use the navigation bar on the left to go to another album)
I’ve only had it since last Christmas and I’ve taken hundreds of pics. It’s a riot!
PS- regarding print quality. When I set mine on his res, the pictures print out just like regular photos. It’s like a dream come true!

My new toy is a drawing tablet!
I was gonna get a big expensive one, but I could neither justify the expense, nor the need for it in the first place. Then I saw that Wacom has a small handy one called the Graphire, and it is perfect for me!
What I wanted it for was for easier use of the paintbrush features in Photoshop, allowing me to literally draw on the computer, because using a mouse to do that is horrible and a waste of time.
But it also reduces any RSI OOS whatever strain injury, as you use your whole arm to guide the pointer, not just a twitch of your wrist.
It’s cooooooool… hope I don’t lose my pen.
I just got a new digital camera too! It’s a Casio 3 megapixel. The best part is that it comes bundled with the IBM microdrive. 340 megs of storage space…drool. Unfortunately, it set me back a grand, but so far it’s been well worth it.
GuanoLad,
I have been wanting a table for ages. I hate parting with money so I have held back on it.
In fact, I haven’t had a printer for 2 years because I don’t want to part with the cash.
Now, the digital camara I do need. I client needs me to take regular pictures of some of their construction sites for their web site. They never seemed to have one available to check out so I thought I would take the plunge.
'Sides the Vegas trip is coming up and I want to post some pics up right away.
There’s always reasoning behind a new toy, right? There has to be.
that should read tablet…grrrrrr
Well, if you want the tablet I have, lookee:
Wacom Graphire
I have the blue one. And it is really cool! As far as I know, it’ll substitute as a mouse for almost every program, it fits into your USB port which means you can keep your mouse connected through your serial/ps2 port, and it even comes with an optical mouse (that isn’t very good)!!!
Definitely worth looking at… do not be fooled by its size. It’s what you do with it that counts.
Thanks for the info Guano.
I think I will work up the “courage” to get a printer next. I end up having to use my client’s printers for the few things I need to print but there are other things that I want to print – fun stuff.
Oh. Oh. Dog pictures!
Gabby
Sorry the image is so large. She is the white Shepard. This picture was taken with my digital camera and took about an hour and a half to take. I was by myself and both dogs like to play. Getting them to sit still long enough to photograph was definitely an exercise in patience.
