The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the first team I can remember taking an interest in. When I was but a mere child living in Lakeland, Florida, I had a Buccaneers jacket. Bright orange and red colors.
I never thought I would see the day that they would win the Super Bowl.

Was it just me, or did Oakland not show up until after halftime?
No blown calls, either, from what I could see…except that fumble call, which was rightly overturned to a dead ball early in the first quarter.

Just got home from a Super Bowl party. We drove by way of the stadium, there was nothing organized there, it just seemed like the direction to go. It was like everyone in Tampa was out on the road. Honking their horns, waving flags, just generally acting like idiots… but in a good way. 
And lord knows it was deserved. Too many years of being the laughing stock of the nation. One championship down, two to go. Lightning, you’re up next!!!
