I think that the Pit is a great place even today. Sure there are the shmucks like Lizard that try to fuck it up, but I trust that if a thread was in the wrong place, that Alphagene would or Lynn would move it.
So we have to let it be.
Besides, we all had so much fun the last time Lizard spread his ass-cheeks and bent over in here, that I think it’s okay. Let the tackling dummy stay and amuse us. He is akin to a capering fool.
Further, I have learned a lot in the pit. When Val flamed my crispy, I learned not to fuck with her.
I learned not to shoot my mouth off.
I learned that sometimes what you say and what you mean are two different things.
I learned that you need to let people get to know you before you unload with your raw personality.
At the very least, Wally taught me that the term “ugly as a hat full of assholes” is funny as hell, no matter the context.
So, I think that flames are as diverse as the people that unleash them.
And it’s a good thing that we have shmucks to flame.
There can be no flame without fuel, after all, and shit like that.
