Yo Pagans! Check this out.

Beltanein Denver, anyone?

I’m an independent pagan.

Might be worth checking out. Thanks! I don’t see myself camping there, but maybe an evening visit would be fun.

Wait - “No pets, firearms, or fireworks please.” Dang. First they say to bring “Your own magical / ritual items” and then they say no firearms. Hello! The Colt 1911 has replaced the athame for some of us. And they expect me to do rituals without our pet hedgehog? What, are they going to supply familiars?

Luckily, bear traps don’t count as firearms. :stuck_out_tongue:

May 8th - 10th??? Beltaine is supposed to be on May 1st. Sheesh

I’ve already purchased my tickets and gathered a group of friends to camp together. I know the group organizing it.

Really? My ex is one of the organizers. Tiny little old world, eh?

“Songstress”? Why can’t they just say “singer”?

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. But have you ever tried to get a herd of pagans to do something on time?

A group of 13 or less would be considered a coven (like a covey of quail, right?) but once you get above that number it’s so disorganized that even “herd” implies more coherency than is displayed… Hmm, a Din of Scouts, a Skulk of Foxes, A Chatter of Pagans?

The term implies tresses?

Former Pagan checking in: man, if I were closer to Denver, I’d consider it. It would be nice to get back to nature in an outdoor setting with religious people. I could still get into it all, personally.

Sounds cool, but too far away for me.
