Yoda and Fonzie Bear

Is it just me, or do they sound alike?

Anyone seen them together at the same time?

Aren’t both voices provided by Frank OZ? Did you already know that? Am I being laughed at now?

Just FYI, it’s Fozzie Bear.

Fonzie Bear would wear a leather jacket, ride a motorcycle and say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Thank you, Arken.
I apparently had a deprived childhood.

But “Fozzie Bear” is a Jedi Master?

Yep, Fozzie is a Jedi.

I always thought Yoda sounded more like Grover, myself.

Yoda going “wakka wakka wakka” doesn’t cut it, no…

Yoda, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Grover…all Frank Oz.

Yoda sounds exactly like Grover! I have always thought this. I have trouble taking Yoda seriously because I expect him to break into “near…far” at any moment.

So next we will find that Mel Blanc is Captain Kirk?

So will Yoda wear a knight’s helmet and red cape in Episode 2? And look for the new book, There’s a Jedi at the End of This Book, starring Yoda!

“Sound like Grover on Sesame Street I do, yes…”

(From a parody of ‘Everybody’s Free to wear Sunscreen’)

And nope, haven’t seen them together at the same time…

<< Do-be-do-be-do! >>

Star Wars takes place long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away. Maybe Yoda evolved into Grover.

“And cute am I, too!”

Backwards I talk, stupid I sound…

Like those of most non-English languages are my sentences constructed. Not understood would they be…only by a dork, yes?

<Linguist Geek> In fact, the sentence structure of Yoda’s speech is very unusual among human languages. Whether Lucas knew this, or only stumbled on it accidentally while trying to make Yoda sound “foreign”, I do not know.</LG>

My brother mocked me when I said Yoda sounded a lot like Grover. I feel so vindicated now.

I try and spread a little joy where I travel.

A slight hijack here, but one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen/heard in a movie is Miss Piggy (Mr. Oz) singing “Never Before” in The Muppet Movie. Just listening to that, and knowing it’s this thin balding guy… I don’t think I’ll ever not find that funny.

Yoda, Piggy, Fozzie, Grover… Oz they are.

I’d love to see Miss Piggy with a light sabre.

“EE-YAH!”

“Your hand? Moi?”

And then the two worlds converged…
