You are the picture of Lordosis

Imagine being that girl. Someone can legitimately say to her, “If you looked up Lordosis, there would be a picture of you.”

Now, I have to say that she has probably never been told that she had lordosis. Does one have to go to a chiropractor or massage therapist to be told these things? And what can be done about it, anyway?

And if you wanna talk about real lordosis, you talk about Chang and Eng Bunker lordosis.

My first thought if I saw her wouldn’t be “she has lordosis,” it’d be, “she’s pretty cute.”

That’s a rather… unclinical example they’ve got there. You suppose she even knew her picture was being taken?

Isn’t lordosis the psychological condition of irrationally thinking you’re a member of the House of Lords?

Or that person who posted it has permission to do so?

If she was in public, no permission is needed.

I look at that and think “ow”. Her wrist is nearly at her pubic bone, fer goodness sake! (It’s “supposed to be” in a straight line with her shoulder and elbow, down the middle of the side of her body.)

And yes, I learned to identify (not “diagnose”, only MD’s and chiropractors can legally diagnose) lordosis in massage school. I’d have to take that bag out of her hand and make her stand up straight to be sure, but in that picture at least, she doesn’t look good.

ETA: I don’t immediately see a lordosis (or two) in Chang and Eng Bunker, though.

Presumedly, it was the photographer who posted it. Being as they were out in public, the two women don’t have to be asked for permission to be photographed or to have the photograph publicly displayed.

I thought she just had lazy posture. Doesn’t look very extreme to me, but that’s probably because I have lazy posture too.

And lardassis.

Hey, I know her!

Yes I know that but

They appear to be in front of a store. They could be standing on the store’s property or they may be within a larger mall.

Also, even though it is not necessary, it would be kind of jerkish to take a photo and post it on Wikipedia.

Then I back tracked the image to it’s source on flicker. Aparently it is part of a photostream called malingering, which is a fairly toxic view of the world.

I have lordosis myself, but I’m not as cute as the woman in the photo. Guess I’m not the picture of lordosis I thought I was.
