I don’t believe in thoughtcrime. I believe that most, if not all, people have sexual thoughts and fantasies that are great in our minds but don’t translate well (or at all) to reality. I see no reason to judge someone for what they cannot control. After all, I have similar thoughts about coworkers or random strangers that I would never consider indulging (or half the time even be able to, due to the laws of physics).
I also agree, as said above, that they wouldn’t be my coworker for long, anyway. So even if I was disgusted (which is highly unlikely since my own fetishes are pretty far out there), I could easily remove myself from the situation. I’d be the first successful psychic detective, instead. Give me a police lineup and I’ll tell you whodunnit! (I’ll also tell you how best to elicit a confession!)
