You don’t seem to have grasped that there are key differences between getting a tattoo and self-harm. Seriously, did you even fucking read the link you linked to???

Since you apparently didn’t read it and don’t grok the concept, let me spell it out very slowly:

  1. Somebody else is operating the tattoo needle.
  2. Self-harm is not meant to be seen, showed-off, or shared by anybody else.
  3. Self-harm comes from a dangerous pathological mindset of externalizing internal pain.
  4. Self-harm is not fucking body art.

The fact that both “procedures” are permanent is their only similarity, and that is not relevant. If this is true, then it appears that a tattoo will act as an asshole repellant. I advise every young lady out there to get a tattoo, stat! This will help immunize you against the awful possibility of going to bed with a jerk.

I just crack up at the idea of getting up with a naked woman in your arms, ditching her, and getting dressed and walking out. Did he even explain to her? Did he say, “I’m sorry, but tattoos are really unattractive and I can’t get it up for you because of that?” Or just walk out in silence?

I have to admit I’m not much for tattoos either. But if I had already reached the point where we were naked, it wouldn’t be an issue. Worse case scenario, I’d turn off the lights rather than leave.

The search function is not letting me search his posts for the word “gay” since it’s 3 letters but I am certain that that was the gist of what he had posted. When I see Clothahump’s name, the three things that always come to mind are that he is rabidly hates religion, gays & tattoos.

I would like to point out, since there are people here who think I throw my opinions about tattoos around willy-nilly, that I have not been in that thread and I probably won’t go into it - the OP wants a tattoo, he’s asking for advice on which one to get - he’s not asking me for my opinion that tattoos are stupid and he shouldn’t get any, so I haven’t offered it. :slight_smile:
