I just put $792 on the credit card for heating oil, so I guess most of it goes there.
Dying car battery and oil change on one car, brakes and oil change on the other.
I’m gonna need more than a grand I fear.
Right now? I guess I would use it for my trip to LA next month. I could fly instead of the train and stay at a hotel instead of sleeping on the floor. That would take about $700 of it, the rest would buy me a pizza for breakfast right now.
Hmmm… probably pay $500 on credit card debt…$250 into the 2 organizations I volunteer for- Hoof & a Prayer Horse Rescue and Above & Beyond Setter Rescue and Transport. The other $250 would be play money, most likely a resin horse figurine.
When can I expect the check? 
Just going to put it in the bank. I know expenses will be coming, but I would not automatically buy based upon a small windfall. OK, maybe I’d buy that 30X optical zoom camera and a refurbished desktop from Tiger Direct.
$100 to take my S.O. out to a great dinner/entertainment for a night, and $900 on student loans.
That might cover a nice weekend in Singapore for the wife and me.
Spend $100-$200 to replace some of my shitty second-hand particle board furniture. The rest goes to whatever debt has the highest interest rate, which at the moment is a car loan.
In fact that’s what I’m planning to do with my tax refund…
My needed car maintenance/repair estimate this week came out to just over 1k. I could only afford $300 worth of work at the time (the rest once my tax refund comes on). That’s where it’d go for me. Then I’d use my tax refund on a video card and open up a new savings account. =)
$1000? It would get sucked into the gaping maw of my overdraft before I can even think of what I’d like to do with it.
Ehh, just put it in the pile, where it will be kept company.
I’m on vacation in a couple of weeks - I’m pretty sure that I could find a couple nice restaurants for some special evenings out while we’re there or maybe one dinner out and an extra helicopter tour. In the shifting priorities I had to cancel the booking for the Big Island, it would be nice to add it back in.

I’m at the beginning of a major remodeling project at the house. It would go towards upgrading the appliances…or cabinets…or floor…or bathroom fixtures…

In two weeks my dog will have cataract surgery, so I would put it towards the 4K I’m spending on that. Else I would probably put it towards paying off the car (the only two outstanding debts I currently have.)
