Because you can fix the problem yourself, instead of waiting twelve days for the landlord to do it for you . . . .
sigh
Gukumatz,
Who has been sweating his ass off i 25c+ weather in Norway for nearly two weeks with no air conditioning. Norwegians are not built for this shit!

That reminds me, AC (my SO, not the thing that needs a new blower) was going to bake pork chops last night. It’s 83° inside without the oven on! Good thing I asked what was for dinner when she called, I gently prodded her into using the grill instead.

I just moved in - it is the first time I used it. It worked for about 20 minutes, then just stopped blowing air. It could be the control unit I guess, so hopefully we will find out soon.

Is this Central Air? If not, what brand of a.c. unit is this? Last weekend, oddly, I watched someone get a back-door fix from the Internet for their in-window a.c. unit because after about 20 minutes it shuts down and won’t re-start.
T’would be amazing if that unit was the same brand as the one that just shut down on you. Anyway, central air or window unit?

It is central. The electrician thinks it is a panel that sends the signal to the compressor that seems to be out.
I don’t have a radio in my car (or AC) because I like to think.
Now all I have is a friggin’ Kenny Rogers song stuck in my head.
I even tried to dispell it with that know when to fold em’ thing but it didn’t work. I did just fine all through the 80’s, 90’s, and well into the new century with out that ever coming up and now I’m fearful it will never go away.
BTW last summer my AC went out. Turned out I’d blown a fuse…at the furnace. They’re wired together somehow and when the AC shorted, the fuse blew up there (furnace is in the attic).
Oh damn it. Now the A/C in my car has decided to commit seppuku. It was working fine, then I turned off my car, turned my car back on, and my A/C didn’t work. I let it rest in the off position for a while, and then it worked again.
And that was the last time.
Goddamn car, it’s been nothing but problems since I got it. I don’t know what the fuck the previous owner did to it, but I got it at only around 60k miles on the meter.
If it was a steer, this car woulda been shot long ago.
Time to go get an estimate for that piece of shit vehicle’s A/C repair.
