You see, it's stuff like this that makes people think Teabaggers are a bunch of right-wing cranks.

I am stealing this and reproducing it everywhere I possibly can.

Ugh, every time I hear about Obama being communist I want to punch people in the fucking face. I have seriously lost all rationality on this issue. I used to live in a post-Communist Eastern European country so I think I have a pretty good handle on what it was actually like.

Don’t like Obama? I don’t give a shit. Just don’t make things up, fuckheads. Is it too much to base your complaints on actual policy, or are you just too stupid to understand it?

Quasi-Stalinist, my ass, you moron. Talk to people who actually lived under a Stalinist regime before you go around saying such stupid fucking things.

It’s 1955.

So, this Red Army guard is standing duty in the Kremlin, when a roughly dressed kulak walks up to him and says “I would like to see Comrade Stalin, Father to the Country and Supreme Leader, as I have some suggestions for improved agricultural production which he might…”

The guard cuts him short, rudely, amazed that even such an ignorant country bumpkin had not heard…“Comrade Stalin, glorious leader, is dead. His tomb is in Red Square.”

The kulak reels away, stunned, muttering to himself in consternation and disbelief.

Next day, at about the same time, he returns to same spot, same guard.

“I would like to talk to Comrade Stalin, Glorious Leader…”

“I told you yesterday, you dumb kulak, Comrade Stalin is dead! Now, get away from me!”

Next day, same thing, the peasant walks up to the guard and before he can even open his mouth, the guard begins to berate him.

“You empty-headed shit for brains, don’t even start with me! I’ve already told you, twice, on two seperate days, Comrade Stalin is dead, dead, dead! I have lost all patience with you, you ignorant peasant! Why do you keep coming here and asking the same question, when I’ve already told you: Stalin is dead!”

The kulak looks a bit sheepish, and apologetic. “I’m sorry”, he said, “its just that I do so love hearing you say it.”

See, this is the trouble with LIBERALS.
They’re just to darn polite!
The proper choice of words for the quoted sentence are “kick” and “nads”, followed by “over and over and over again.”

Note to self: use blunter language next time.

The Teagaggers are upset that the ,used to be safe ,suburban types have become expendable by corporations. They were kinda safe for a generation or two. Now they are not. They recognize the damage that has been done to our economy is severe enough that they may never recover. It is a terrifying prospect. There was always hope in America ,new opportunities and a future. That has been killed for a lot of people. The difference is they are the voters. They will not go quietly.
The idiots don’t even know that they got a tax cut from Obama.

Sorry, all I heard was blah, blah, Obama raised taxes.

Except Obama cut taxes. Polecat must know that .

Osama did WHAT?

He’s still got it!

Let that be a lesson to you all about the spiritual/artistic value of massive doses of LSD.

I’m sure this guy is also not representative of Republicans, but Republican Representative Steve King of Iowa has expressed his sympathetic attitude towards the guy who attacked the IRS building with his plane and murdered a guy working there (a guy who was a father and military veteran to boot).

When oh when will we find someone who does represent the majority of Republicans? This mob of crazy non-representative types keeps getting in the way, even when they are non-representative elected Representatives.

Well, the reason Republicans feel they can get away with saying crazy shit like this, is because they know the Dems don’t like to play dirty and thus won’t call them out on it.
If his Democratic opponent had any brains he’d hang this guy with his own words, running commercials with that clip and talking about how he’s pallin’ with terrorists.

I could be wrong but I get the impression that Rep. King is in such a safely and solidly Republican district that even if any Democratic opponent did run ads like that against him, it would have no impact.

Indeed.

Looks like King has apparently backed away from his alleged comments: Dems blast King on IRS remarks - POLITICO

Note that King is the same guy who said Washington, D.C. was more dangerous than Baghdad, and inflated the number of illegal immigrants in federal custody by 20% in order to magnify the number of crimes they committed.

The 5th is the most conservative congressional district in Iowa (which itself is surprisingly liberal). No Democrat has won there since 1982, when it was redrawn.

Northwest Iowa is solidly Republican because Lincoln won the war.

Ol’ Steve (sometimes known as Little Hitler) initially came to prominence by bashing immigrant packing house workers in the vacuum following the retirement of an old line GOP congressman. His seat is safe until some young Republican with real charisma, a baptism certificate from the Dutch Reform Church and pig manure on his boots shows up.

There is hope, however. The next census will probably disappear one of Iowa’s five congressional districts. Ol’ Steve is dead meat if he has to run outside the parochial confines of the western slope. Of the state’s other congressmen, three are Democrats and the remaining one is a pretty reasonable Republican.
