Anybody got more on this story. is the removal because of the naming, or because daddy is cooking up bathtub meth etc?

“DYFS has their reasons and they normally don’t release any information, so we kind of have to go on faith with them,” Harris said. Police were not told what the agency was investigating.

Wow. DYFS does not base decisions on childrens’ names alone, according to DYFS agent Bernyk, who goes on to say that the children are not abused and are well cared for. The news article stretches worldwide to a disinterested New Zealand court, an unaffiliated (and so far as I can tell, uninformed) child psychologist and a couple of similarly ignorant economists, apparently in an attempt to justify a DYFS decision that is based on a child’s name, just in case it turns out that the kid is being raised to be a happy, healthy genocidal maniac.

Eventually, facts may surface that make the child’s parents seem unfit, besides their obscene but legal and honestly held beliefs. Pending that, the DYFS is acting the part of the lying, hypocritical type of American bureaucracy.
