Here’s your chance! Please tell us your actual Christmas (or other holiday) present wishes and also what you secretly desire, but won’t tell anyone else. Also, you can take a wild guess about something you will get that is not on either list in the Bonus Section.
Actual: A cell phone, a BBQ grill, and a subscription to Science News.
Secret Desire: A new digital camera and a DVD video burner.
Bonus Section: A subscription to Reader’s Digest from my Mother-in-law.
Actual: from my parents - nothing, or if I’m lucky grudingly given money (small amount) … from my siblings I’ll suggest several DVD titles, none of which I’ll actually get …
Actual: some things I need and a few good books.
Secret: to have my degree already and a nice place of our own in the middle of nowhere for my boyfriend and I.
Bonus: some random but sweet gift that I wouldn’t have thought of to ask for.
Actual: A pair of Levi’s, a subscription to National Geographic, and toys for the little kids whom Santa desn’t always get to (ie, Toy Mountain, the Salvos, etc.); Secret: A winning lottery ticket; Bonus: 'Taint x-mas without socks and panties!
Actual: I will say I don’t need anything… I just like when people get me stuff that requires thought (i.e. don’t buy me a Britney Spears CD, I won’t like it, but if you buy me an Arcturus CD I’ll be a) eternally grateful b) amazed that you found one around here and last but not least c) flattered that you took the time to pay attention to what I like.)
I openly do want a Discman with mp3 capabilities (and a car adaptor!), however, or a GameCube game (Animal Crossing or Mario Kart Double Dash or Super Mario Sunshine), and I really want the Lancome Juicy Tubes Merry Juicy Bar gift set because I am a huge lip gloss junkie, but I won’t ask for them.
Secret: A PS2 and Xenosaga, or a Game Boy Advance (SP if possible but I’d do with any!) and Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire. I’d never ask for these things from anyone, though, they are too expensive.
