"Your body, my choice" - is it really true that gangs of boys are chanting this in schoolyards and other public places?

Not being a mom, of tweens or anyone else, I’m personally finding this a little hard to believe, and the whole thing sounds like a meme or an urban legend in the making.

Plus, I personally think Nick Fuentes is a troll.

I don’t know if he’s a troll or what ever. He’s antisemitic, misogynistic and a white supremist.

Pretty bad person.

I’ve heard the reports of boys supposedly saying that stuff to young girls. Nothing credible.

My grandkids wouldn’t be of an age to hear these things.
The University my daughter and her boyfriend work at has not had any issues yet, that they’ve heard.
Very red state.

I’m gonna go on the assumption that kids won’t repeat it until they hear adults saying it.

In the early 1990s, I had a pen pal who had a tween-aged daughter. “MTV Unplugged” had an episode with Pearl Jam, where Eddie Vedder got out a marker and wrote “PRO CHOICE” on his arm, and her daughter did that too. She sat her daughter down to have a little talk with her, and you guessed it - her daughter had no idea what that really meant.

I could see a group of people (both men, doing it, and women, observing it) setting themselves up to do that, because they think a viral TikTok video will come from it.

My 14 year old daughter has heard it at school in NZ,
BUT, from someone who tends to try to be controversial.
It is certainly something that is out there in the wild (my 20 year old has also heard it in the wild)

It’s definitely a real thing Trump bigots have been saying. I know people who have ended friendships over it.

I’m hoping the fact of how harsh people are coming down on this helps.

So it would not surprise me at all that it got picked up by edgelord kids, or even just the kids of the meb who were saying this.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it is true. The MAGA attitude towards women is basically, “We can rape you and force you to have our evil spawn while we laugh and mock you.” This has to have an effect on their youth.

I know many middle and high school girls do not use their pronouns online due to harassment so I can’t say it’s true but would not surprise me if it were.

A T-shirt with this printed on it was seen in the wild in Las Vegas by a friend. He was getting the bird flipped at him.

I was thinking this whole thing is the bigots co-opting a women’s empowerment book title and mashing it, mockingly, with the Pro-Choice movement:

I don’t know how women are going to reclaim it other than shaming anyone who says/uses it. Men will be unreachable for the most part, but boys should be corrected and for most it should hold. As someone mentioned, it will take responsible parenting.

Who did the bird flipping? The t-shirt wearer, or your friend?

I guess if Mr. T-shirt wore that out, women would know not to get involved with him.

The original edition had a section on how to wash and reuse condoms.

Check my post again. It was a general bird-flipping in his direction.

That saying “never type out something in an email that you wouldn’t want read out in court” should be exponentially more so for a t-shirt.

Some woman raised these men. Just sayin’

“My ‘Your body, my choice’ T-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.”

Oh. Yeah, that’s different. Hmmm. I might put that away for the duration.

No, it is twisting the common phrase “My body, my choice”.

Speaking of little Nicky…

Gotta say, if there’s anyone who deserved to get doxxed, it’s someone like Nick Fuentes.

An apparent set of social media exchanges with one young man who said it…and is regretting it…
