Your explaination for this work of God

Apparently, GOD is displeased with your glib, off-color comments.

I’ll take that for Him yes, and for the blood sacrifice He likes prime rib, which I believe can be ordered online from Omaha Steaks.

Since He is getting me the mug and prime rib on His behalf, I respectfully disagree.

You’re taking this rather lightly. Or do you believe you’re the only person who can magically pass relevant messages on from God?

By the way, God told me to tell you:

It’s my understanding that most Biblical scholars agree Christmas trees are not forbidden according to Jeremiah as they’re not idols. Here are a few of Christian opinions.

No matter your reasoning for why it is ok, the command did not change: Thou shall have no other gods before me. The prophets warned over and over again, Yehushua upheld the law and the prophets, and you make excuses as to why its ok. Like most, you love tradition more than obeying Yah, do you not? There is nothing that could ever be said to make you abandon a christmas tree, condemned in the scripture, and that’s cause you’re putting the christmas tree first.

so. Do false prophets agree with other false prophets?

^ I guess you’re the real deal?

Again, isn’t the “no other gods before me” law supposed to be the reason Yehushua was executed?

So you say.

Do you know what question marks convey?

Generally I agree with that.

In this instance, it means you were most likely criticizing me for a claim I didn’t make.

Plates of shrimp?

It was a question that I think deserves an answer. Why should anyone trust you regarding Bible translation? Why should anyone that attempts to explain the Bible to others be called a false prophet or a prophet at all? Since you’re giving us your interpretation, are you a prophet? If not, how is it that you’re different than the folks that wrote what I linked in post #165?

I read Jeremiah. It’s clear to me that people don’t worship Christmas trees as idols and having one is not going against anything written in Jeremiah.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, people. Slow down and let us reflect upon God’s word:

So there ya go. He hath spoken. What say you now, heathens?

I never said anything to contradict this.

Where did I do that. I think you misunderstood what I tried to state. It is exactly putting God first that allows everything else.

As long as you put God first, what is the violation of what you put second or third or forth or…

I think you really don’t know what that law was, nor do I think it’s stated outright. There are some assumptions, as I mentioned 2 of them, but as for what that actual 'we have a law 'is I don’t believe is stated.

You quoted me, quoting John 19:7, right there on page one: “The Jews answered him, ‘We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.’” If you think it’s a different law, I’m all ears.

So what is the law he violated?

Scriptures (Ps 82:6) state He is.
