The older Joel ones are the best, I think. But I was on the bandwagon pretty early and of course what first makes you fall in love is always the best and nothing really compares.
Available on YouTube, I bring you “Indestructible Man.”
I do have a lot of affection for “Stinky Shorts” as well. List here:
Some of my favorites:
“Mister B-Natural,” of course!
"Johnny Goes To The Fair."
I liked The Invention Exchange too.
SPECIAL BONUS! Only aired once: SCTV, "The Cisco Kid."

Although I’m more of a Joel fan, *Alien from LA *ranks as my #1 feature. I don’t know if Kathy Ireland was intentionally bad or just a victim of her first acting gig but this Road Warrior-like movie hits on all cylinders.
Junior Rodeo Daredevils is my favorite but Mister B-Natural mentioned above has got to be the most ill-conceived educational-promotional short ever filmed!
I’m thinking Pod People. It also has probably my favorite host segment “Music From Some Guys in Space”. As someone who used to listen to Hearts of Space (still would if they had a free podcast), they completely nailed everything about that show.
One of my favorites is The Day The Earth Froze partly because the source film is so oddball. I also like the one where they keep calling the guy names like ‘Slab McBeefrock’ and ‘Biff McTankPecs’. Can’t think of the name of it, though.
Gamera vs. Guiron. I believe this was my first MST3K episode. At first I was annoyed at Joel and the bots yapping, but then it clicked and I fell in love!
Some of my favorites are “The Final Sacrifice” (“Rowsdower!!”), “Manos, Hands of Fate”, and “Final Justice.”
Also if we can branch out to Rifftrax, “Breaker, Breaker!” was pretty hilarious and I kinda sorta liked the movie as well.
The funniest moment I remember was one with a giant spider and a middle-aged couple running from it. The woman may have been a former star, because as she tripped and fell they said “There goes the last shred of my dignity!”
“Giant Spider Invasion,” which also gave us “Wooooooo Packers win the Super Bowl!” That episode, along with “Final Sacrifice,” are my favorites.
Catching Trouble! The star, Ross Allen, had a “Reptile Institute” (roadside attraction in Florida) that featured plenty of animals and a supposed recreation of a Seminole Indian Village, which looks uncomfortably like a human zoo in the old promotional clips I’ve seen on YouTube.
