I forgot Bruise Vlolet by Babes in Toyland. Kat Bjelland’s howl in the bridge makes me shiver.
And Syko? Doing just fine.

Rock and Roll Killing Machine, DEP is some extremely harsh shit. I have both calculating infinity and that other one of theirs and Infinity is damn near unlistenable. Very impressive musicians, but that is by far the most intense albumn I have ever heard.
As ar as my fav goes though, anything off of The Hammering Process by Living Sacrifice. Awsome Awsome Metal. Also really dig older Sepultura, before Max left.
Heh. You should listen to some Merzbow.
Fucking Hostile by Pantera also rocks me pretty hard.
Fight Fire with Fire by Metallica
Cavity by Boysetsfire
Back To The Motor League by Propagandhi
Queensryche’s entire concept album, Operation Mindcrime, but in particular the songs Revolution Calling, Spreading the Disease, and The Needle Lies.

I don’t know if Husker Du really counts as “Hard Rock”, but I guess they come closer than Weezer :). (And I don’t know how to make umlauts.) “Celebrated Summer” has been stuck in my head lately. Anthrax does a decent cover of it. Maybe I should have just submitted that?

hardy, I thought I was the only Damn Yankees fan on the planet. I still have the shirt from when I saw them open for Bad Company.
Here are some of my favorites that I didn’t see mentioned.
Sepultura - Arise; Territory
Pantera - Walk
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls
Annihilator - Alice in Hell
Biohazard - Blue Blood
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Machine Head - Davidion

Meat Loaf: Bat Out of Hell
Smoke on the Water
Kashmir
Paranoid
Punky’s Whips
And almost anything by the **Blue Oyster Cult
Caprese: Hmmm… I’ll admit it has a slight hard edge to it, but I still wouldn’t call it hard rock or metal, sorry. Doesn’t make it any less of a great song, though - I adore Weezer. Every self-respecting person should.
LivingDeadGirl
Definitely not metal. I dunno,I could still could never call it pop.
I truly think it is a mini-masterpiece of hard rock, but maybe I am kinda Old School. I like it loud, but I like a definable riff, etc.
When I was thinking of what some of my favorite hard rock songs were, I was not so much into categorizing, I was just sort of pulling songs out of my mental data bank. Or something.
